  • First Impressions

A large (SIZ 17), rough looking barbarian who looks extremely ugly, largely due to his incredibly wrinkly, leathery skin. Irritable. Contrary. Language skills rudimentary: no big words, seems to speak only Rathori. Apparent age 40. Unarmed but very well muscled: impossibly broad shoulders. Often smells of gin. Stumpy legs.

Study his stats... Og is actually one of that long-lived race, the Giants, or Old Ones as Rathori call them. Last year, he had a run-in with a sorcerer who Tapped his Size to that of a man. He thinks he's a normal human now, which helps really piss him off - he's almost always in a bad mood. In reality he's still growing and he may well exceed SIZ 21 within a year.

When he shrunk, his skin collapsed around him as if his insides were being pumped out. This has left him looking bizarre but with most of his skin "armour". Combined with his supernaturally high STR aand CON, and natural resistance to spells, he is almost invulnerable to entire troops of soldiers, rune levels etc who don't understand what they're dealing with. If the PC's seem suspicious, try to give them the impression he's an Ogre with chaotic strength. If that fails, hint at vampirism.

Fell in with Krarsht cultists in exchange for spells. At their prompting, took on a chaos feature (a double - see below). The influence of chaos enhances his naturally ornery temper. The Krarsht now regret associating with him as he is completely uncontrollable.

Sometimes works as a guard for a gin-still (moonshiners). Takes his pay in gin. He can, of course, sink unbelievable amounts.

I've given him 2 Strengths. If you're feeling merciful on puny PC's, say that his smaller body doesn't have the leverage to exert a full 7d6 blow from a fist. If you want to worry your rune levels, let them see how many dice you're rolling.

    Character Traits

Will kill all sorcerers on sight, and will eat their brains. Giants have no compunctions about eating people.

    Attacks

Damage bonus (STR=27) is 2d6, or 3d6 with the Strength spell. But if using the recommended STR value for Rune levels of 54, it is 3d6 increasing to 5d6 with the Strength spell.
